There are three main options for fresh air supplies in a home. Which make the most sense, in which climates? What do they cost? Are there other positives or drawbacks to the different methods? And how do we handle that range hood makeup air? We will discuss the current code and other standards for ventilation air, tools to measure indoor air quality and what we have learned from their increasingly widespread use, the common pollutants and how to control them. How different climates dictate different ventilation strategies, and how to treat incoming ventilation air.
