The Children’s Housing Assessment for a Safer Environment (CHASE) Project aimed to incorporate an injury prevention assessment and modification protocol into more than 100 homes of children receiving other housing services provided by the Green and Healthy Housing Initiative. This panel will 1) describe the burden of home injury in the pediatric population 2) Describe the Quantitative, Qualitative, and cost analysis results from the CHASE project. 3) The presentation will additionally include an overview of the CHASE tool kits which includes freely available learning modules for utilization by home assessors to incorporate the assessment and modification protocols into their existing programs.
