VP Best Practices BOWA Design-Build Experts Silver Spring, Maryland
Basements, crawl spaces, and the floor systems they support are often sources of water, moisture, or thermal problems. In this workshop, we’ll review standard construction methods today and in the past, their strengths and weaknesses, how to fix or at least manage water problems, and how to insulate under the house in climates across the US. We will cover moisture control, sub-slab gasses like radon, air sealing, and why insulation & air sealing must be considered along with water & moisture control in many climates.
