Technical Director PSD Consulting (PSD) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
This session will explore the developmental process of weatherization Crew Leaders and provide strategies for progressing their skill sets to better serve those they work with. A crew leader must have skills in multiple aspects of the weatherization process, which not only includes installing air-sealing and insulation measures. They must also have a good understanding of program-specific policies and procedures, local and national building codes, and a good solid building science foundation coupled with the ability to build or reconstruct components of a home. Crew Leaders are forward-facing representatives that become the brand of your company who simultaneously provide customer service, team leadership, and task management all while ensuring productivity on the job. This session is aimed at providing tools to mentor, support, and develop Crew Leaders in the middle of a workforce crisis. Join us for valuable insight into the skills needed to create and maintain the future Crew Leaders of your organization.
