Lindsay is the Director of Healthy Homes at Women for a Healthy Environment, a Pittsburgh-based non-profit that educates communities about environmental risks to human health, provides action steps to mitigate those risks, and advocates for solutions to protect and promote healthy spaces for children to thrive. Lindsay is a PA certified public-school teacher (Slippery Rock University) with a Master's in Public Health from West Chester University. Her work has focused on bringing people-centered, common-sense approaches to programs, planning, and policy in local governance, grassroots advocacy, and community health education. Lindsay brings her expertise in public health, community advocacy, and education to create healthier living environments for families in Southwestern Pennsylvania, both in her work at WHE and also as Mayor of her hometown.
At WHE, Lindsay leads the Healthy Homes program, addressing critical environmental health risks such as lead exposure, mold, and poor air quality in underserved communities. Her people-centered, solutions-driven approach has empowered families to take actionable steps to improve their living conditions while advocating for systemic changes to protect children and families.
