Cory is a researcher and weatherization lead with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory providing support to the Department of Energy. Prior to joining NREL, Cory worked at a weatherization training center where his primary responsibilities were developing, maintaining, and delivering building science training as well as conducting quality control inspections of retrofit upgrades. Cory’s background also includes over a decade of employment with a WI community action agency where he contributed to energy efficiency improvements of hundreds of residential homes. In his spare time, he enjoys camping with his family, kayaking, and strength training.
