Senior Director, Environmental Health and Water Quality

Jennifer (Jenny) Hoponick Redmon serves as Senior Director of the Environmental Health and Water Quality program at RTI International and by trade is a Senior Environmental Health Scientist and Chemical Risk Assessment Specialist. She is known for her ability to synthesize complex environmental problems into practical solutions that improve the natural and built environment. Her experience includes a blend of practical field and laboratory expertise, cross-cutting technical knowledge, a love of collaboration, excellent communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to improving public health and the environment over her 20-year career. As the founding director of the Clean Water US Kids program, her vision is to identify and eliminate exposure to contaminants, including lead, where people live, learn, work, and play. At RTI, Jenny leads a multi-disciplinary staff and collaborates with external partners to conduct community-engaged environmental research, implement statewide programs, and advance environmental health outcomes.
