Amber Anderson is a dedicated Program Manager at Walker-Miller Energy Services, where she has been part of the team for over six years. Amber manages the Ameren Illinois Diverse Vendor Procurement (DVP) Program, focusing on strategizing ways to increase and enhance diverse spend and vendor utilization across the Energy Efficiency Portfolio. Additionally, she oversees the Ameren Illinois Diverse Program Ally Incubator, which supports diverse contractors in growing their businesses through Ameren Illinois' Energy Efficiency Programs.
Amber's passion lies in creating equity within the energy sector. She is committed to bringing visibility and access to opportunities, and works to support the development and growth of diverse businesses, while actively helping to remove the barriers they face.
Amber's academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of English from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in strategic planning, innovative solutions, and process development.
Outside of her professional life, Amber enjoys music concerts, travelling, and spending time with friends and family; especially her husband and three boys.
