Casey Murphy has worked in the residential building industry for over 30 years, as a small business owner, trade ally to regional and national builders, and as a participating contractor in Maryland’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program. From 2008-2015, he worked at ICF:
• Supporting the U.S. EPA and its ENERGY STAR residential programs,
• Designing and launching whole-home utility rebate programs,
• Providing Technical Assistance (TA) to U.S. DOE ARRA grantees.
• Leading the developing of IT tools to help state and local agencies to reduce deferrals and enhance the delivery of services to low-income households.
Casey also served on BPI’s Standards and Technical Committee and chaired the working group to develop a QA Field Inspection Standard.
Since 2015, Casey has worked at Pearl Certification, a Public Benefits Corporation focused on market transformation. As Pearl’s SVP of Quality, Standards, and Customer Experience, Casey supports Pearl’s various customers including those that focus on homeowner engagement, contractor support, and engaging with the valuation industry. Casey also services as Chair of Pearl’s Standards Management Board and provides oversight on Pearl’s Partnership and Service Providership with DOE’s Home Energy Score as well as Pearl's Partnership with the ENERGY STAR Home Upgrade Program.
