Matt Hargrove, the President of Total Home Performance (THP) located on Maryland's Eastern Shore. In 2009, from the confines of his parents' garage, he along with close friends laid the foundation for THP, originally just an energy audit company. However, fueled by a collective passion for the environment and a desire to assist others, THP swiftly evolved into a comprehensive Home Performance/Weatherization contracting company.

Today, THP offers a plethora of services including energy audits, healthy home assessments, insulation, crawl space encapsulation, rehab, structural repair, electric, HVAC, and more, with a dedicated team of 68 professionals. Recognized as an industry leader in the region, THP has received numerous accolades for its commitment to quality, high energy savings and total production across various market-rate and low-income energy and healthy home programs.

For Matt, being part of this dynamic industry alongside friends and like-minded individuals who share his passion for improving lives and preserving the planet is what makes coming to work everyday easy.

Outside the realm of work, you can find Matt exploring the world and indulging in his love for fishing, accompanied by his two wonderful children, River and Ari, and his loving wife, Madeline.
