Daniela Freeman is the Manager of Standards at Building Performance Institute (BPI) and is responsible for handling the development and maintenance activities for BPI standards consistent with the requirements of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Essential Requirements. Ms. Freeman previously served as Standards and Compliance Manager in data exchange in the energy industry. Her background includes management of standards technical committees, benchmarking, market research, and strategic planning. She has served on the board of the Society for Standards Professionals (SES) as Content Director from 2020-2022 and she currently serves on the board of a literary nonprofit in Houston, TX. Ms. Freeman is a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
